Experiment: Does sprinkling flour on the leaves of your plants keep grasshoppers at bay?
What I expected: Less or even dead grasshoppers in the garden bed.
Results: Yes, the grasshoppers aren't eating the leaves, but now they are eating and breaking the stems. Doh!

Been swimming and recharging at Barton Springs in Austin TX since I was 9 years old. Back then, I swam with the turtles, fish, and snakes. It's a bit different vibe today but still and always a refreshing 68-70 degree year around temperature.
